The Fine Art Commission processs: The principle here is to involve the client as much as possible in the final product. This is achieved by spending a couple of hours in consultation with the client to find out what they would like from the painting. Sometimes clients have very specific ideas about the image itself, other times they simply have a sense of a mood or genre. We would discuss where the piece was to be located and its size and I would ask for reference points such as the client’s art and music interests etc. I then put forward a draft image and have a final consultation before passing the point of no return. The client will then be delivered or will collect, the finished piece, [as soon as the paint is dry]. I will also supply the client with a small leaflet outlining the process that took place to create the image with references to our initial consultation.

Testimonial from Mr. and Mrs. Adams, Cardiff Bay. When we moved to a new apartment in Cardiff Bay overlooking the Bute East Dock, we wanted a painting which referred to the maritime industrial history of the area but also reflected its rebirth after a long slow decline. We believe that 'Shelter from the Storm' expresses these ideas perfectly. To see more Fine Art Commissions click on Images above.
